NES Overview
NES

The NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) is a home video game console released by Nintendo in July 1983. In some regions, it was released under the name Family Computer (Famicom).

Because of its low processing performance, 3D displays were not possible, and the resolution and number of simultaneous colors were low, many relatively simple games were released.

As for video game software, many masterpieces were produced, including Super Mario Brothers, Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy, which have been carried over to the latest video game consoles.

In November 2016, Nintendo released the "Nintendo Classic Mini" series of palm-sized NESs.

NES Emulator Overview

Since several decades have passed since its initial development, the game is highly complete and there is almost no game that does not work. It is also lightweight and runs well even on a integrated graphics.

As additional functions, there are also emulators with features that exceed those of the actual device, such as high-definition and netplay.

Since the emulators are already completed, some of them have older update dates, but there is no problem at all in operation. Please choose the one you like based on the functions.

Note that BIOS is required to play Disk System games.
