Wii Overview
Wii

The Wii is a home video game console released by Nintendo in December 2006. It was released as the successor to the GameCube and is backward compatible with the GameCube.

The Wii Remote and Wii Fit, which incorporated human movement into the game's controls, succeeded in attracting a generation of people who were not familiar with video games, making the game a big hit.

The Virtual Console function allowed users to enjoy games from Mega Drive, PC Engine, Neo-Geo, and other consoles released by other companies.

The Wii's competitor was the PlayStation 3, but thanks in part to the inclusion of the family demographic, it surpassed the PlayStation 3 in terms of both units sold and titles for the first time in three generations.

As of 2023, approximately 97% of games are playable. The GameCube is also supported.

It has many useful features such as gamepad assignment of hotkeys, launcher function, improved image quality, etc.

For image quality enhancement, image quality can be greatly improved by changing rendering resolution, anti-aliasing, and anisotropic filtering.

In addition to the Wii Remote, the system also supports extended controllers such as nunchucks and turntables.
